School Medical Centre

The School has a medical-nursing service that provides initial care for students who suffer injuries or become ill while at school.
The infirmary is located on the ground floor of the ERASMUS building, next to the Aula Magna.

First aid is provided by two professional nurses who enable the medical service to function during school hours.  The school doctor has a preventive and curative function and is present at the school during the annual medical check-ups. Every year there is a health check-up for each student.  Legal guardians will be notified by e-mail and will also receive a report with any advice necessary.

In the event of urgency or emergencies, anyone witnessing a serious event should first of all call 112 and secondly call the Medical Service, which will provide first aid to the injured person while awaiting medical assistance and notify the family. 

In the event of an accident at School, legal guardians must send the following documents to the Medical Service:
– the doctor’s certificate or first aid report
– the privacy form signed by the legal guardians.

These documents will be sent to the insurance company together with the School’s declaration. Otherwise the file cannot be processed. 

Pupils returning to school using crutches must present a medical certificate of fitness to the secretariat in order to be admitted.
