A Green School is a school that is committed to:
- reduce its impact on the environment
- educate their students in an active attitude towards protecting the ecosystem
The Green School method involves the implementation of cooperative action by the entire school community in which pupils, teachers, non-teaching staff and parents act together for the common objective of reducing the school’s ecological footprint.
Our school joined the Green School Project in the 2019-2020 school year, committing to work on the following “pillars”:
- Energy saving,
- Waste reduction,
- Food waste reduction,
- Water saving,
- Environment
- Biodiversity
