Cooperativa Mensa
The Mensa Cooperative of the European School of Varese (COMSEV) was created on December 19, 2006 by 11 founding members (parents and staff of the School) and deals with the management of the European School canteen, from September 1st, 2008.
The Canteen is located in the Da Vinci building, Via Mameli 35.
Since 2021 the canteen service will be outsourced to a catering company to provide the meals. For more information, please consult the COMSEV website.

Open to the public: from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Lunch at School
For younger children in Materna to P2, they will have 2 ‘long’ days a week on a Tuesday and Thursday.
For older children P3 onwards, they will have 3 ‘long’ days a week with the addition of Monday.
For older S5 and above children, they will have an additional ‘long’ day on Friday.
Wednesday is always a short day for everyone and no lunch is required.
Children can bring a packed lunch of their choice or subscribe to the school canteen Cooperativa Mensa service.
Snacks at School
Children are given time to eat snacks during their morning and afternoon break. Please can you provide your child with 1 snack on a short day and 2 snacks on a long day.
As we are a Green School we would kindly ask you to prioritise providing snacks that are healthy and without any plastic packaging if possible.
